Put More Smile in Your Dial

Cold calling is a tedious and painful task. If it were easy, companies would not be paying iTelesource to do the dirty work. As such, I am always looking for new technologies that improve the process and reduce the pain.

One of the solutions I have come across is a product called Klpz (pronounced clips) from Contact Science. Klpz provides an automated way to manage any calling process using two screens and a mouse. Ultimately the goal is that you can increase the total amount of calls any one rep can make, thus increasing the amount of positive conversations you might have. They have positioned the tool for both inside and outside sales reps.

Klpz drastically reduces the amount of clicks and screens needed to make “x” amount of calls in a given day compared to using a sales force automation tool such as Salesforce.com and Sugar CRM. After all, SFA tools are really built for pipeline management and are not optimized for making calls. This is something I have been aware of for a very long time. While there are a few solutions out there that address inside sales needs, they attempt to replace existing CRM at the same time. Klpz aims to coexist with your existing SFA tool.

I will be trying the solution in one of our lead generation engagements over the next couple of months and will report back to Selling Pursuit any improvements we see.
